What’s Popular to You Isn’t Popular to Me

I wanted to partake in this challenge because I should be able to write about anything as a writer. If I can make you ponder what I wrote for at least a few minutes, then I did my due diligence as a writer; when Courtney Capone presented this writing prompt, the first thing I mentioned was, “who cares what my unpopular opinions are?” I don’t care about my unpopular opinions; I don’t sit around long enough to care or even put them into words. I can become very selective regarding what I want to display.

Friends TV Show

For those who don’t know, the show was copied from the hit tv show Living Single with Queen Latifah and Kim Fields. I don’t like copycats. If you have some extra time, look at an episode of Living Single and one episode of Friends, and you will find similarities. I could never relate to Friends the dry humor, and not seeing a black person in sight besides Aisha Tyler couldn’t hold my interest enough. So yes, Living Single is the original and the show that I relate to the most. I’ve always admired Queen Latifah; any woman willing to name themselves Queen exudes confidence.
