It’s just a list

A journal, bed and sheet. The journal is opened, and it says, “A little space to create.”

Courtney Capone has done it again; she challenges me with another prompt writing challenge. I’m locked and ready to go; I enjoyed her first challenge of describing myself using every alphabet letter. It was a challenge, but it allowed me to flex my muscle and confidence. This challenge seems easy, but I become meticulous with things like this if you know me. I want to create lists that make you, the reader, ponder.

I will use Courtney’s method of listing the wrong first and ending it on a high note with the good. I usually like to do things short, sweet, and to the point. I’m not a gardener, and I don’t plan on beating around any bushes.

10 Things I hate

The news- How do they even know what stories I would enjoy watching and listening to? They all say that they share important stories with you (me), but I can’t figure out how they would know that. They don’t even know I exist. Stations push a narrative that causes us, the viewer, to build a perception of people, places, and things.

As viewers, we have tons of access and power to push the stories we want people to be aware of, and let’s be honest, a lot of these news stations and their anchors are biased. I can’t differentiate what’s an opinion and what’s a fact.
